I am a Boston based artist whose work falls into a variety of photographic genres. Through it all I strive to twist expectations of the familiar to reveal life in fresh ways.

I was born and raised in Montana and received my Master of Architecture degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 1989.  After a substantial career in that field, I began in 2013 to devote myself fulltime to my love of photography and the visual arts.

I have studied in workshop settings with Keitaro Yoshioka, Jessica Somers, Vaughn Sills, Thibault Roland, Karin Rosenthal, Nolan Preece, Arno Rafael Minkkinen, Lance Keimig, Blake Fitch, Meg Birnbaum, and others.

My work has been exhibited in juried shows at Filter Space Gallery, Chicago, IL.  and in a variety of settings in New England including juried exhibitions at the Danforth Art Museum in Framingham, the Bromfield Gallery in Boston, Griffin Museum of Photography at SoWa in Boston, Gallery 262 in Cambridge, and in Newton Massachusetts at the Newton Open Studios Winter Work  juried exhibition and as part of their juried public art project Fence Art.
